The Big Play

Featuring a new work by Melbourne composer Katy Abbott, this activity is for all musicians. Just bring your instrument and join the massed orchestra to workshop a piece with the composer and guest conductors. Rehearse beforehand using In the Chair software or hardcopy of your part. This activity is available for on-line delegates.

Get hands on with the latest music simulation and education technology by In the Chair and Sibelius.

Composer_Connecting_Community Concert

Be the first to hear the World Premiere of works commissioned by Orchestras Australia that will be presented by the composers; Katy Abbott and Matthew Hindson. The concert also includes a state premiere of Graham Howard’s flute concerto “The Nude” and the presentation of the 2006 National Orchestral Awards. This activity is available for on-line delegates.
